Quad in Hartford, WI, is seeking Skilled Second Press Operators to join our team! We recognize your expertise and offer a competitive starting wage, beginning at $21.00 or more, based on your print experience.

Relocation assistance may be available for highly qualified candidates residing 100+ miles from our plant.

Your Role

As an Offset Second Press Operator, you’ll play a vital role in our printing operations, collaborating closely with the Offset First Press Operator to ensure seamless setups, efficient production, and top-notch quality control.

Your focus on safety, precision, and customer satisfaction will be key to success.

    Qualifications

    We’re looking for professionals with 2-3 years of print operator experience, specifically with offset presses such as Harris, Heidelberg, Goss, and Manroland (other models will also be considered).

    Ideal candidates should have:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
  • A commitment to quality and efficiency.
  • The physical capability to lift 10-15 pounds continuously and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • The ability to stand for extended periods during shifts.

    • Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate press equipment based on provided instructions.
  • Monitor and ensure quality standards (color, folding, mechanical precision).
  • Guide and coordinate the press team to exceed production benchmarks.
  • Perform maintenance, lubrication, and required documentation tasks.
  • Assist in other print service roles as needed after training.
