Key Responsibilities:

+ Participate in the GEDP Clinics, both in-state and out-of-state programs, which includes these specific clinics and a weekly one-hour GEDP team meeting
+ Provide services at the main campus of Children's Hospital Colorado (CHCO) and possibly in the Network of Care
+ Participate in call coverage for Section of Allergy & Immunology, including inpatient consultations
+ Collaborate in EoE industry trials
+ Analyze data, prepare and submit manuscripts describing the main findings of clinical studies

**Minimum Qualifications:**

**Assistant Professor:**

+ Applicants should have successfully completed a pediatric residency and an Allergy and Immunology Fellowship.
+ At least one year of working with EGID patients, preferably in a defined EGID program at the applicant's fellowship program's academic center
+ Recognized as Board Certified/Eligible by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology.
+ State of Colorado medical license and DEA license must be obtained on or before the hire date.

**Associate Professor:**

+ Applicants should have successfully completed a pediatric residency and an Allergy and Immunology Fellowship.
+ At least 5 years of working with EGID patients, preferably in a defined EGID program at the applicant's fellowship program's academic center
+ Recognized as Board Certified/Eligible by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology.
+ State of Colorado medical license and DEA license must be obtained on or before the hire date

**Condition of Employment:**

+ Must successfully pass a drug test through Children's Hospital Colorado
+ _Must be willing and able to pass a national criminal background check_

**_Preferred Qualifications:_**

**_Assistant Professor:_**

+ _Prior experience in the evaluation and management of patients with EGIDs, particularly EoE_
+ _Prior experience with clinical research and patient management of emerging EGID treatments_
+ _Prior experience in the evaluation and management of patients with food allergy, including performing food challenges_
+ _Prior experience in the evaluation and management of primary immunodeficiencies_
+ _Prior peer-reviewed publication history_

**_Associate Professor:_**

+ _A minimum of 6 years of experience at or equivalent of Assistant Professor ranking_
+ _Prior experience in the evaluation and management of patients with EGIDs, particularly EoE_
+ _Prior experience in the evaluation and management of patients with food allergy, including performing food challenges_
+ _Prior experience in the evaluation and management of primary immunodeficiencies_
+ _Prior peer-reviewed publication history_

+ _Knowledge and ability to provide expert oversight and medical management of children with complex allergic and immunologic diseases who often have other significant medical issues_

_Assistant Professor: $187,000 to $200,000_

Open Rank - Assistant Professor/Associate Professor - 35491 Faculty
We are seeking a new clinical allergist/immunologist, Assistant Professor or Associate Professor, with particular interest and experience in the diagnosis and management of eosinophilic gastrointestinal diseases (EGIDs), particularly eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE).

The candidate will participate in the Gastrointestinal Eosinophilic Diseases Program (GEDP), a joint program between the Section of Allergy & Immunology and the Digestive Health Institute.

The applicant will have protected time for 3 years to help develop and expand the GEDP program within Children's Hospital Colorado, the Anschutz Medical Campus and across the 7-state referral region, and to perform clinical research and obtain funding for future research on EGIDs.The candidate will also provide oversight and care of patients with asthma, food allergy, allergic rhinitis and conjunctivitis, atopic dermatitis, drug allergy, animal dander sensitivity, insect sting allergy, urticaria, angioedema, anaphylaxis and immunodeficiencies in inpatient and outpatient settings.

This will include oversight of food challenges, drug challenges, and providing allergen immunotherapy.

These services will be performed at the main campus of Children's Hospital Colorado and at a Network of Care location.

The candidate will participate in 6-12 weeks of call coverage for the Section of Allergy and Immunology, including inpatient consultations.

The candidate will also participate in the teaching of fellows, residents and medical students assigned to her/his clinic and service rotations.

Onsite - this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Aurora, CO.
