Job description

Position Description Summary:

The George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates, an independent non-profit academic clinical practice group affiliated with The George Washington University, is seeking to fill full-time faculty positions in cornea.

The Department of Ophthalmology is part of a growing academic health center located in the heart of a world-class, vibrant metropolitan area and its cultural, family, and educational opportunities.

Appointment rank will be commensurate with experience.

This position is expected to begin as early as December 2024.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities: Responsibilities include delivering excellent patient care, teaching residents and medical students, and conducting high-quality research.

Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must be board-certified or eligible in Ophthalmology and fellowship-trained in cornea.

Applicants must also be eligible for licensure in the District of Columbia at the time of appointment.
