These projects tripled our available space and provided the College with state-of-the-art research and teaching facilities.

We seek to further strengthen our graduate research and teaching, while maintaining the excellence of the undergraduate program, through multiple faculty hiring.

Some major research strengths (https://engineering.rowan.edu/programs/mechanical/research/) of the department include advanced manufacturing, digital engineering, multifunctional materials, soft robotics, and engineering education.
