As a software sustainment engineer, you play a pivotal role in an application’s functional life.

As a software sustainment engineer at Booz Allen, you’ll have an operational impact from day one.

With a team of professionals, you’ll maintain applications and keep systems working.

You and your team will use programming and scripting languages as you continuously enhance and maintain the applications, troubleshoot any issues that arise operationally, and upgrade the systems to meet security requirements.

Most importantly, you’ll advise our clients on the best ways to improve and modernize the existing systems.

You Have:

6+ years of experience with OpenText Content Server workflows and repositories

Experience with expertise in OScript, REST/SOAP APIs, and OpenText Web Services

Experience integrating OpenText with enterprise systems such as SAP, Microsoft 365, or ServiceNow

Experience in developing integrations between OpenText and other enterprise systems such as Microsoft 365, ServiceNow, SharePoint, or Power Platform

Experience in collaborating with business analysts, solution architects, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions

Ability to design, develop, and implement solutions within the OpenText Content Server and Extended ECM platforms

Ability to configure and work with customized Content Server modules, workflows, metadata, and permissions to meet business and compliance requirements, and create and maintain scripts, APIs, and web services for system automation and data exchanges

Ability to address findings from design and code reviews and develop detailed specifications for program components within a collaborative, cross-functional team

Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements

Bachelor’s degree or 15+ years of experience in software development in lieu of degree

Nice If You Have:

Experience creating and testing modules and components for compliance to design specifications

Experience working in a microservices or distributed application environment

Experience in HTML, CSS, C#, C/C++, .NET, React, Angular, or NodeJS

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD).

The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
