Summary This position is located at The Peak but may fill other vacancies in the Business Recreation Division.

This position is for Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (FMWR) at Fort Drum, New York.

FMWR includes Child and Youth Services, Business Recreation, and Support Services, which enable Soldier readiness, support the resilience and well-being of Soldiers and Families.

Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will NOT be paid.

Responsibilities Monitors operations to ensure smooth running of the business operation during peak business hours to set the pace in Front and Back of the House.

Adherence to established schedules of activities and priorities; assures the presence of personnel to carry out the services offered; provides information concerning services, prices, dress codes, standards of behavior, and special events.

Assumes responsibility for cash during shift including cash collected from waiter’s guest checks.

Provides administrative supervision to all employees, authorize employees to clock in and out; reports to functional supervisors on employee performance.

Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Resumes must be two pages (or less).

Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position.

A qualified candidate must possess the following: six (6) months of experience effectively working in a fast-paced food and beverage establishment or a current MWR Texas Roadhouse team member, AND good interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.

Area of Consideration This job is open to candidates who are U.S. Citizens and Non-U.S. Nationals that have resided in the U.S. or U.S. Territory for three (3) or more continuous years immediately preceding the start of Federal affiliation and reside within the Local Commuting Area (defined as 100-mile radius) of Fort Drum, NY.

Spouse Employment Preference (SEP) and Involuntarily Separated Military Preference (ISMP) are included in this area of consideration.

Allowances and Differentials This job is part of a pay-banded system.

Sunday Premium and Night Differential pay have NOT been authorized by the Garrison Commander or the Collective Bargaining Agreement for Flexible positions with no guaranteed hours.

Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will NOT be paid.
