Job Overview
Hollywood Building Services is hiring a detail-oriented and experienced Operations Manager to lead our Floor Care and Special Projects Division.
This hands-on leadership role is responsible for managing all aspects of non-recurring janitorial projects, including floor coating systems, deep cleans, post-construction cleanups, and special requests from clients.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in floor care, experience managing teams across multiple locations, and a drive to uphold the highest standards of quality, safety, and cost-efficiency.

Key Responsibilities-
Conduct job site walk-throughs and develop scopes, proposals, budgets, and cost estimates-
Manage field operations across multiple sites, including direct staff and subcontractors-
Train and mentor crews, ensuring preparedness and performance standards are met-
Conduct site inspections to ensure safety, quality, and compliance-
Oversee warehouse inventory and manage materials to align with project needs-
Prepare daily reports, tracking labor, material use, project status, and obstacles-
Review completed work to ensure client, regulatory, and internal standards are met-
Resolve on-site challenges and communicate effectively with clients and internal teams-
Maintain professional relationships and communication with clients, vendors, and staff
Qualifications-
Proven management or field supervisory experience in janitorial or floor care industries-
Hands-on expertise in floor care techniques and equipment, including:-
Stripping/waxing, burnishing, carpet cleaning, tile refinishing, grout restoration-
Experience with coating systems (liquid glass, epoxies, broadcast)-
Knowledge of stone, marble, granite, concrete, and metal maintenance systems (a plus)-
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills-
Ability to manage multiple crews across different job sites-
Strong computer skills and ability to learn software systems for project tracking-
Must be bilingual (English/Spanish)-
Must have a valid driver's license
