Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced Program Manager to manage data center infrastructure goals and programs, as well as manage cross-organizational constituent relationships.

A Program Manager in Central Operations your responsibilities will focus on driving efficiencies into our service, support, transportation, execution and engineering business models to reduce our marginal costs and optimize capacity deliveries.
You will own and manage service goals that may span multiple organizations and teams within multiple subject areas simultaneously.
Business-impacting projects you would be responsible for will enhance data center operations efficiency.
It is expected that these projects require timely execution with the highest degrees of safety, security, performance, availability and reliability.
Our ideal candidate is an articulate, motivated, and organized individual with experience in leading global initiatives at an enterprise scale.
The role requires the ability to quickly assimilate knowledge spanning numerous technology subjects and apply this to data center projects, products and operations.
Key job responsibilities
Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) and Organizational goals tracking dynamic cross-organizational programs and products.
Coordinate effective cross-organizational engagements to drive closure on long standing, complex, and often ambiguous problem sets.
Own one or more highly visible, complex, cross-functional projects from end to end; including product definition, roadmap planning, resource planning and project execution.
Be Accountable for the overall strategy as well as driving tactical delivery of key deliverables through partner teams and stakeholders.
Build and maintain relationships with key owners and stakeholders across teams and organizations.
Escalate and engage partner teams and leadership as needed to drive attainment of key program deliverables and objectives.
Synthesize large and complex data sources and program details into concise narratives and program status reports.
Be data-driven and understand how to identify the right data points to effectively articulate the What, Why, and How of in scope projects.

We are a new team to Central Operations, created to help stabilize and optimize the labor planning from our customers to the DC Operations teams.

Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets.
The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market.
Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Amazon is a total compensation company.
Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
