The Operations Program Manager has responsibility for a staff with numerous and diverse missions, roles, and skills.

The individual serving in this capacity will be expected to provide consistent, reliable, efficient, proactive, and effective management of the On-Board employees.

Individual is responsible for administrative, business, site safety, client/customer, account, and financial management/leadership for staff and teams whose work activities are typically (but not exclusively) managed on-site.


  • Overall management of the On-Board PMO staff at the CLIENT Site.

  • Liaison between On-Board PMO and CLIENT operations at CLIENT Site.

  • With site client jointly develop solutions to improve production, quality safety

  • Area safety and housekeeping audits per the schedule.

  • Ensure all safety and environmental regulatory requirements are met.

  • Meet regularly with site administration and area managers to ensure the On-Board teams are meeting the needs of the client.

  • Facilitate corrective action process for safety, productivity and quality issues.

  • Work to reduce turnover within the On-Board teams.

  • Respond to personnel needs of the client and ensure open positions are filled in a timely manner.

  • Develop goals and objectives for the On-Board leadership (managers and supervisors) at the CLIENT site.

  • Conduct annual reviews of managers and supervisors.

  • Work with members of the team to identify and train potential future leaders.

  • Various administrative tasks associated with job scope.

  5. Self-managed: initiative to identify, start and complete projects timely and independently, with minimal direction.

  6. Flexibility/Change management: ability to adjust to change in work tasks, situations and processes; show great interest to participate actively in ongoing training developments.

  7. MS Office Intermediate Excel level applications

  8. Knowledge of OSHA and environmental policies.




Organizational Relationships:

Works regularly with On-Board Senior Management, PMO Site Management and Administration, Client Site Leadership and On-Board operators.



Qualifications and Physical Requirements :

Qualified candidates should be degreed and/or have relevant prior experience in a leadership role, able to work odd hours including weekends and holidays in response to client needs.

Candidates may be required to sit, stand and/or walk for extended periods of time and distances, and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds/55 max.
