POSITION TITLE: Operator 2, Machine Liquid - Refiners
REPORTING TO: Supervisor, Production
LOCATION: St. Albans, VT

The Operator 2, Machine Liquid - Refiners position is responsible for staging and mixing raw materials on the lines.


SHIFT HOURS: Wednesday 1:00pm - 7:15pm and Thursday Friday and Saturday 7:00am - 7:15pm

+ Perform the duties of an Operator 1

+ Enter recipe data according to production schedule

+ Operate batch controller systems, perform data SAP entries

+ Perform viscosity and quality checks on the line sampling

+ Correct the consistency of paste in a mixer and transfer the chocolate as needed

+ Operate equipment PLC’s

+ Track inventory, clean magnets and document HACCP

+ Cross train to perform all functions of an Operator 3, Machine Liquid

+ Cross train to perform all functions of an Operator 3, Machine Liquid- Mixer


About you:
+ High school diploma or equivalent

+ Two (2) year technical degree in mfg, preferred

+ Computer Numerical Control (CNC) experience, preferred

+ Experience with Microsoft Google Sheets, a plus

+ Good written and oral communication skills

+ Experience using a micrometer, preferred

+ Basic computer usage (keyboard and mouse)

+ Math skills required (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)

+ One (1) year food manufacturing experience, required

+ Ability to operate power equipment including forklift and hand card

+ Ability to stand on concrete floor for long periods of time

+ Bend, squat, stretch, reach; frequently

+ Ability to climb stairs, often

+ Must be able to lift minimum of 50lbs, often

+ Comfortable working at heights

+ Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and temperatures in the facility

+ Noise level can exceed .85 decibels
