Position Summary:

This position is primarily responsible for assembling a range of components into finished goods across one or more production lines ensuring standard documentation, quality, and production rates are met.

Works under the direction of the Production Team Leader/Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Comply with all Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP) requirements to ensure products are consistently produced and controlled according to the Quality System.
  • Follow established documentation for product manufacturing.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas, machines, tools, and equipment.
  • Take direction within the manufacturing cell from upper-level operators assigned to that cell.
  • Primary function of assisting production operators and technicians engaged in processing and product fabrication.
  • Load small devices to fixtures and equipment.
  • Make basic measurements and math calculations relative to tolerances, dimensions.
  • As instructed, adjusts machines to achieve conformance with specifications and maximum yield.
  • Perform in-process visual inspections with and without the use of microscopes in accordance with the requirements stated in the Process Control Document or as otherwise stated on drawings or work instructions.
  • Must Have:

  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED), preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year Medical device and manufacturing experience
  • Ability to read, write and comprehend English.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Must be able to accurately document details
  • Must be able to use microscope on a daily basis, throughout the shift
  • Hours: M-Th, 5:00AM - 3:30PM

    Hourly Pay Range: $18.50 to $20, based on experience
