Summary of objectives:
The Operator is responsible for operating extrusion lines in B Building.
Essential Functions:
· Work safely.
Identify unsafe conditions, and take action to mitigate.
· Read the production work order.
· Locate, retrieve, and stage raw material and packaging supplies using a forklift
· Visually assess the quality of the raw material before loading
· Feed raw material to manufacturing lines
· Monitor resin handling equipment for malfunctions
· Assist Maintenance Technicians in repairing equipment malfunctions
· Use a hoist to handle finished product
· Take product samples
· Perform selected quality inspection and testing on product
· Package and label finished product
· Stage finished product in warehouse using a forklift
· Package, label, and stage scrap materials
· Assist in start-up and shut down on the manufacturing lines
· Maintain housekeeping in work area
· Offer ideas for improving the performance of the operations
· Work any shift
· Work overtime as required

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work – This is a full-time position.
The shift is a 12-hour rotating shift.
Overtime work is required occasionally.

Required Education and Experience
· HS Diploma or GED equivalent is highly preferred.
In lieu of Diploma or GED, years of experience, knowledge, skills, and fit will be considered.
