JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The Operator I is responsible for the assembly or packing of various products & performing necessary quality tests according to the product specification while ensuring production demands are met.
Can recognize basic equipment errors and report or perform basic troubleshoot tasks.
What You'll Do:
Production
Proficient in all operator 1 job description requirementsOperates and controls auxiliary and semiautomatic equipment for production process being performedAbility to assist higher-level operators.Uses measuring equipment to ensure all quality specifications are met.Assists in the training of lower level operatorsOperate any material handling and processing equipment required for production.Utilize shop floor management system to update CIP boards when necessaryAbility to perform basic troubleshooting on production equipmentAbility run more than one machine while still maintaining required output Supply Raw Material
Visually checks work stations to determine if supplies are getting low; pulls supplies from designated stocking areas.Transports materials to and from workstations utilizing necessary material handling equipmentNotifies supervisor and/or material handler when supplies are at reorder levels. Quality and Testing
Tests and inspects the produced products to ensure they meet all quality specifications.Report when products are outside of the specifications to proper supervision and/or quality personnelPerform non-conforming product procedures when necessaryIsolates and/or rework items that do not meet specifications or quality standards.Ability to input accurate data into quality control system Other

Compensation
Base: $18.00 hourly, based on specific compensable factors including, but not limited to education, work experience, and geographic market.Bonus: This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company’s performance and their own individual performance.
