The Opportunity:
Avantor is looking for an Operator on our Nusil site.Whatwe’relooking for
Education:High School diploma or GED preferred.
Experience:1-2 years of work in packaging or distribution.
Certification(s):Nonerequired.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a chemical plant.
Understanding/familiaritywith cGMP and RCRA training.

Carry outsafety precautions.
Responsible for ensuring the lines are set upand running to the production schedulein accordance withwork orders.
Understand line and pump configuration and be able to clean and inspect lines as well as perform linechange-oversas needed.
Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and ensure that items that fail checks are addressed.
Stage and unload railcars and tank trucks.
Take bulk samples from both railcars and tank trucks and deliver to the QC lab.
Take particle count samples and run particle count tests.
Prepare customer trucks to include sealing, sampling, and associated paperwork.
Inspect and close MPOs.
Keepaccurateproduction records.
Collaborates with Supervisors and Maintenance Personnel to resolve equipment set-up and operations.
Work with the QA Dept to understand, recognize, and rectify quality issues.
Has the authority and responsibility to stop the line andnotify QAof a contamination event.
Ability to perform the duties of both a packaging operator and material handler.
Handle hazardous and universal waste according to local,state,and federal regulations.
Performs other duties as assigned with or without accommodation.
Demonstrate mechanical ability.
Critical decision-making skills, creativity, and multi-tasking ability.

Pay Transparency:
The expected pre-tax pay for this position is
$41,200.00 - $68,700.00Actual pay may differ depending on relevant factors such as prior experience and geographic location.
