**Job Title: Operator (Sewer)**
**Job Description**
This position requires candidates to sew large panels, including a team sew that is 58 inches long, consisting of 27 panels.

These are NFL flags and not part of the daily build.

Candidates will operate a Juki sewing machine, sewing 2-inch wide seams.

**Responsibilities**

+ Produce, repair, alter, and add to finished goods such as personal protective equipment, banners, and other items.
+ Provide support to the Decor Department to meet company objectives.
+ Assist in the production of large or high-quantity orders.
+ Work with various sewing machines and stitch applications, including Single Needle, Double Needle, and other machines.
+ Follow established patterns and specifications, and create new ones as necessary.
+ Perform repairs, alterations, and add accessory items to personal protective equipment.
+ Sew in an environment with quick turnaround times (daily and weekly).
+ Use handheld hardware and tools as necessary.
+ Assist with material inventory counts.

**Essential Skills**

+ Experience with various industrial sewing machines: Single Needle, Double Needle, and Surge sewing machines.
+ Ability to sew large panels for sports flags and signs.
+ Experience with heavy fabric and hardware.
+ Ability to cut, measure, and grommet materials.
+ Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Ability to lift and handle elements weighing up to 30 pounds.
+ Capability to stand for long periods.
+ 100% Spanish speaking is acceptable as translators are on-site.

**Work Environment**

This is a 1st shift position, Monday to Friday, from 6 AM to 2:30 PM.

The work environment is casual with no uniforms required, allowing plain shirts, shorts or pants, and short sleeves.

Offensive tattoos must be covered.

The area is fully air-conditioned.

Translators are available on-site for Spanish-speaking employees.

**Job Type & Location**

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tempe, Arizona.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
