We have an exciting opportunity for a **Orion Lab Integration Engineer** to join the team with Intuitive Machines, a teammate company.
The **Orion Lab Integration Engineer** will:
+ Serve as the Lead Engineer for the Lab Integration activities of the Orion Program within the Avionics Systems Division of NASA Johnson Space Center
+ Analyze and assess technical and programmatic integration activities and provide strategic guidance
+ Avionics, software, and system-level test planning and execution in support of the Orion and other programs lab testing for integration, verification, and validation activities
+ Negotiate and track schedules with hardware and software dependencies including deliverables to and from external organizations
+ Jointly manages with the prime contractor the overall test and integration approach for cross program avionics and software testing
+ Supports and facilitates re-planning efforts to accommodate emerging issues and risks such as late deliveries or test anomalies
+ Supports planning for future of JSC Labs
+ Ability to travel 4 days every 6 weeks to Denver and/or other Artemis test facilities
+ Participate and contribute to system requirements reviews, preliminary design reviews and critical design reviews
+ Perform other duties as required
+ Must have good communication and organizational skills and the ability to work in a team environment
**Requisition Qualifications:**
This position has been posted at multiple levels.

+ Typically requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Engineering and normally possess 5-10 years of related experience.
+ BS degree in Engineering from an accredited engineering school
+ On location position - situational telework only
+ Ability to travel to Denver or other Artemis test facilities
+ Knowledge and understanding of Linux and other scripting languages
+ Knowledge and experience with hardware testing, lab processing or related
+ Ability to work with others across organizations
+ Ability to effectively communicate technical data
+ Ability to prepare written documents and to verbally present at various meetings
+ Able to organize and prioritize tasks in order to meet deadlines and schedules with limited supervision
+ Experience working in a team environment
**Requisition Preferences:**
+ Knowledge of Flight Hardware and/or Flight Processes/Paperwork
+ Experience with NASA processes

**Physical Requirements**
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of time).

**Attendance**
Regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical.
Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements.
