Job Description:

Apex Systems is currently hiring for a Security System Design and Integration Specialist with a reputable aviationclient.

We are seeking an experienced IT/OT Network Integration Specialist to support a factory integration project focused on reducing risk posture and enhancing system security.

This role involves assessing factory systems for vulnerabilities, coordinating secure device migrations, and ensuring systems are safely integrated into the enterprise network.

At this time, Apex is not able to consider candidates for this role who require visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Qualified candidates will have the following experience and skills:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience - Cisco preferred
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, cross-functional environments
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to take initiative
  • Operational Technology (OT) knowledge – understanding of OT environments and security
  • Networking expertise – IP addressing, VLANs, subnets, routing, firewalls, ACLs
  • Factory systems experience – familiarity with production processes and factory environments
  • Strong communication skills – verbal and written, with ability to lead conversations and coordinate across teams
  • Project ownership – ability to manage multiple projects, follow detailed procedures, and drive tasks to completion

    Charleston, SC - St Louis, MO - Puget Sound, WA

    Onsite expectation: 100% onsite

    Shift Schedule: Mon-Friday - First 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

    Pay range: $48-$55/hr W2
