Role Type: Paraeducator or PCA
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Location: Wayne, PA
Core Responsibilities
Deliver teacher-guided instruction in motor skills, cognitive development, self-help, and behavior regulation
Assist with hygiene, feeding, toileting, and mobility support
Monitor behavior and enforce positive intervention practices
Track student progress and update educational records
Support physical development activities and mainstream transitions
Collaborate across case managers, teachers, and support teams
Lift and reposition students with medical or orthopedic needs
Attend trainings related to instructional methods and medical protocols
Facilitate healthy social interactions and peer engagement
Adapt flexibly to evolving classroom needs
Requirements
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience: Prior experience in caregiving, education, or behavioral support required
Preferred: Exposure to Autistic Support, Special Education, or Behavioral/Mental Health
Certification: CPR/First Aid (must be completed before start date)
Credentialing (Required within 12 months)
PA Child Abuse Clearance
