Portland Community College is accepting applications to be considered for Part-Time Faculty assignments for the Nursing Assistant program at the Sylvania Campus.

Candidates will be considered for providing instruction in lecture/lab and clinical settings.

This is NOT an announcement of a specific open position, but a Part-time Faculty Interest Pool, from which the department will identify applicants based on course assignment needs during the Academic Year.

Your application may be considered for substitute assignments as well as full term class assignments.

The Clinical Instructor scope of work: Supervises, instructs, and evaluates nursing assistant students in a clinical setting.

An instructor is assigned to a clinical site for 2 days or evenings a week/term.

The instructor will supervise between 4 to 6 students at one time.

Primary communication will be with the director of the Nursing Assistant program.

*Clinical Requirements* Upon hire, faculty will be required to complete clinical requirements such as a drug screen, background check, vaccination verification, and online training modules.

*Part-time Faculty Compensation at PCC*Newly hired Part-time Faculty at PCC will generally start at Step 1 of the current salary schedule.

Hourly rates are determine based upon the type of course taught (Lecture, Lab, or Lecture/Lab).
