Part-Time Faculty Pool - World Language Instructor Job Opening In Lynnwood – Now Hiring Bellevue College


Job description

Position Summary

The Seattle Colleges are looking for innovative and dedicated faculty members who have a demonstrated commitment to working within a college community that is diverse and serves students from a broad spectrum of socioeconomic and academic backgrounds.Faculty will teach part-time in a wide range of political science courses.Successful applicants will have the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, staff and others in a campus climate that promotes cultural diversity and multicultural understanding in an urban environment.

Successful applicants may be invited to interview at one of the colleges in the Seattle Colleges District, North Seattle, Seattle Central, or South Seattle.

Specific teaching assignments will be dependent on the instructor's background, scheduling, and available courses.

Candidates should be willing to teach in a variety of formats such as in-class, hybrid, online and varied class times including days, evenings, and weekends according to program needs.

This position is governed by a collective bargaining agreement with representation by AFT-Seattle.

The salary range for part time faculty is$7,110.33 - $10,649.33 (P1: A1- E7).

Target start rate of pay for this position is $7,110.33 - $8,226.33 (for a 5-credit single-class workload per quarter)
