*Preferred:*The Fine Arts & Communication Department seeks a qualified, part-time instructor to teach Basic Video Production and possibly Video Editing.

Candidates must be familiar with fiction and documentary production as well as digital video, sound production, and set lighting.

Proficiency with Final Cut Pro essential.

Proficiency with ProTools, Avid Media Composer and Adobe Premiere Pro preferred.

*Primary Responsibilities:*The Fine Arts & Communication Department seeks a qualified, part-time instructor to teach Basic Video Production and possibly Video Editing.

Salary Detail:Masters Degree under 20 students $850/credit or $2,550 per 3 SCHMasters Degree over 20 students $500 extraPh.D. under 20 students $900/credit or $2,700 per 3 SCHPh.D. over 20 students $500 extraSummer Faculty $4,200 per 3 SCH, max 6 SCH per session, prorated for fewer than 10 students Summer courses above the max 6 SCH are paid at the overload rate of $2,130 *Other Information:*Texas Law requires a 60 day waiting period before new state employees are eligible to enroll in health insurance.

The graduate programs in Biology and Geology enrolls approximately thirty students each, primarily thesis seeking.

Although research is encouraged, excellence in classroom instruction is the first priority of the department.
