Job Description:Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
The Department of Accounting in the Ivy College of Business at Iowa State University is now accepting applications for a part-time term faculty position at the rank of Lecturer to teach one course at the undergraduate level starting Spring 2026.
Term length will be one semester with the possibility of renewal, subject to department needs and satisfactory performance.
The successful candidate will be able to teach on campus (required).
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship.
Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Accounting or related field (earned by contract start date)
- Evidence of progress toward professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) and progress toward Instructional Practitioner (IP) status under AACSB accreditation standards
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience tutoring or teaching students at the college level
