**Your Responsibilities**

As a **Part Time Student Technical - Technical Manufacturing Engineering** for **JD Davenport Works** located in **Davenport** , **IA** , you will:

+ Provides support and basic trouble shooting for current operations.
+ Identifies and implements cost reduction, quality, safety and ergonomic improvement ideas of limited scope.
+ Works with electronic tools to perform engineering functions.
+ Develops plans of limited scope to support lean manufacturing.
+ Assists in development of baseline data for new wage performance pay plans

**This position is not available to students on immigration visas**

**What Skills You Need**

+ Must be registered as a full-time student at an accredited college/university.
+ Graduation date of May 2026 or later.
+ Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above.
+ Available to work during the academic year 16-20 hours/weekly.
+ Available to work during the summer semester 35-40 hours/weekly.
+ If local, comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
+ Ideally you will be pursuing a degree in Manufacturing Technology, Data Analytics, Industrial Engineering; others may apply.
