Your New Role CNN seeks a talented Video Producer to join the team!
Your Role Accountabilities The Video Producer is a key member of a lean, close-knit show staff, helping craft the show's visual look by generating impactful visual material for live segments, packages, and teases.
Proficient in screening media for the best visual elements and editorial sound bites.
Assists in research, compilation, production, and editing of pieces.
Runs tape out of the control room, collaborates with editors on taped segments, and manages changes for later show runs.
Coordinates and ingests video during breaking news.
Must be a self-starter with a love for politics, able to generate ideas for guests, questions, and segments, and handle stressful breaking news environments efficiently.
May require working on weekends or extended hours due to breaking news.
Your Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in journalism or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
Minimum of two years production experience in news television.
Strong news judgment, excellent communication, research, and production skills.
Good writing skills; may be required to write TV scripts independently.
Standard knowledge of show production processes.

The salary range for this role is $60,278–$111,946 annually, with additional benefits and incentives.
