Overview Support the development of analytically defensible wargames, tabletop exercises (TTX), and seminar events for Department of Defense clients.

Work as a team to ensure that wargame adjudication methodologies are sufficiently flexible to allow dynamic player action while accurately representing real-world military capabilities.

Conduct research and analysis into warfighting and national security topics in support of analytic models and wargames.

Ensure accurate representation of real-world military concepts of operations and doctrinal practices.

Provide insight into game design problem sets and independently design discrete game systems that facilitate accurate game adjudication.
Responsibilities Maintain and enhance wargame design and adjudication processes to reflect realistic capabilities and dynamic player actions.

Conduct research and analysis to support analytic models and wargames.

Ensure accurate representation of military concepts of operations and doctrinal practices.

Generate and refine game design solutions and independent game systems for accurate adjudication.
Basic Qualifications 1+ years of experience working on professional wargames in an academic or professional environment
Experience working in a client-facing environment
Experience with complex commercial tabletop games and game mechanics
Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Knowledge of U.S. defense capabilities, joint warfighting capabilities, and tactics
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in an International Affairs, National Security Policy, Applied Statistics, or Game Design field
Clearance Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $43,700.00 to $90,000.00 (annualized USD).

The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
