Physician - Interventional Cardiologist – Grand Rapids, Michigan


Corewell Health Medical Group in Grand Rapids, Michigan is seeking an Interventional Cardiologist to join their well-established group at the Meijer Heart & Vascular Institute.

With cutting-edge technology, groundbreaking research and patient-centered care, our multispecialty team-based model allows for the safest and most effective care plans for each patient.

+ In 2024: 1,429 PCIs, 312 STEMIs and 154 Impella procedures (percutaneous)

+ Large physician cardiology group with 53 cardiologists including 8 interventionalists
+ General Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology fellowship programs
+ Robust research enterprise with participation in multiple randomized trials and investigator-initiated research and relationship with Michigan State University

+ Comprehensive heart and lung transplant programs, VAD, MCS and Structural Heart
+ Opportunity to participate in CV ASC currently completing construction
+ Meijer Heart Center catheterization labs have Zero Gravity reducing/eliminating the need to wear lead in lab



Qualifications
+ MD/DO
+ Michigan Medical License (or ability to obtain)
+ Board certified or Board Eligible - Interventional Cardiology

+ LIC-Physician (MD) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required Or

+ LIC-Osteopathic Physician (DO) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required

+ CRT-DEA Registration - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required

+ CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 120 Days required Or

+ CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 120 Days required

+ CRT-Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA American Heart Association If required by specialty or stress test performed 120 Days required
