is expanding our team in Pocomoke City, MD and has an immediate opening for a Picker/Packer.

In this role, the right candidate will pick, pack and ship various products from inventory.

This is a 1st position with hours from 7am - 3:30pm - Monday - Friday.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Reads and fills customer orders, work orders, shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed

+ Assembles and packs customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department.

+ Marks materials with identifying information and maintains shipping records

+ Prepares parcels for mailing.

+ Maintains inventory records.
QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION

+ High school diploma or general education degree (GED) are preferred.



+ Basic math skills and computer literacy is preferred.



+ One to three months related experience in a warehouse work setting is preferred, but not necessary.

+ Must demonstrate a solid work history and attendance record.



+ Forklift operating experience is preferred.

+ Work in compliance with divisional health, safety and environmental procedures

+ Refrain from removing or altering safety devices or guarding unless hazardous energies are controlled through lockout-tagout methods

+ Report any unsafe conditions or unsafe acts

+ Report defect in any equipment or protective device

+ Ensure that the required protective equipment is used for the assigned tasks

+ Attend all required health, safety and environmental training

+ Report any accidents/incidents to supervisor

+ Assist in investigating accidents/incidents

+ Refrain from engaging in any prank, contest, feat of strength, unnecessary running or rough and boisterous conduct
