Job description

Seeking an experienced Plant Manager with experience in electronic componentmanufacturing to lead company operations in the greater Columbus, Ohio area.

This role is responsible for managing all aspects of plant performance including production, safety, quality, cost, and people development.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in a high-mix, precision-driven manufacturing environment and excels at building a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Provide strategic leadership for all plant operations to ensure production goals are achieved in terms of safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

  • Oversee manufacturing processes for electronic components, ensuring compliance with industry standards (IPC, ISO, RoHS, etc.).

  • Drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

  • Manage workforce planning, training, and development; mentor supervisors and production staff.

  • Partner with engineering, supply chain, and quality teams to ensure seamless product launches and process improvements.

  • Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.

  • Develop and manage plant budgets, capital expenditures, and operating expenses.

  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and performance excellence.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.

  • 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing.

  • Experience in electronic components, assemblies, or related industries.

  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and ERP systems.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead change, optimize processes, and improve KPIs.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and team-building skills.

  • Financial acumen with experience managing P&L.
