Summary of Job Duties:

•Provide theory and clinical instruction for PN students;
• Maintain regular, posted office hours;
• Collaborate and participate in college/nursing committee work, as well as on-going nursing curriculum development;
• Maintain clinical competency and develop/maintain skills in a variety of teaching/learning methodologies to include distance education and web-enhanced courses;
• Travel to and from clinical sites within a 100 mile radius as well as periodic travel between the DeWitt and Helena-West Helena campuses; and
• Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

Associate degree in nursing with two years of recent clinical experience required.

Master’s degree in nursing with previous experience in teaching preferred.

Must have an active, unencumbered license to allow practice as a registered nurse in Arkansas and demonstrate expertise and competence in nursing practice.
