A Polysomnographic Technologist performs comprehensive Polysomnographic testing and analysis, and associated interventions under the general supervision of a Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) and/or under the clinical director (MD, PhD, DO) or designee.
Responsibilities include conducting diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, monitoring patients, ensuring accurate data collection, and educating patients on sleep related treatments.
