Standard Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 am–5 pm.
On-call Duty:
Rotated among department staff (primary and secondary contact, 1-week rotation).
Very low volume, typically emergent incidents (e.g., high-priority ‘P2’).
Not expected to be immediately available, but must be able to triage/assist as needed.
Experience Required:
Minimum 2 years’ IT/application support experience (preferably as Level 2 support); more is a plus.
Top 3 Must Haves:
Experience supporting multiple applications (ideally with exposure to relevant POS software).
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) – candidate will interact with caregivers/front-line staff.
Demonstrated trainability and adherence to standardized procedures.
Relevant POS Systems:
CRX (Pharmacy/retail & POS functions)
Arba (Gift shop POS)
Gillesis/Infogenesis (Cafeteria POS)
Exposure to IVR systems and SFTP integrations is a plus.
Technical Skills:
Desired: understanding of networking basics, firewall rules, field support, troubleshooting (printers, credit card devices).
Any prior POS deployment/upgrade experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided as needed.
Understanding of SFTP/API integration is beneficial but not mandatory.
Work Focus: Core responsibility is ticketing/support (mostly technical, minimal user training; training department partners on that front).
The POS Applications Analyst is responsible for supporting application implementations, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance activities, and supports Technology Governance, the Project Management Lifecycle, Service Transition and Service Operations.
Responsibilities
The Applications Analyst responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
* Conducts current state analysis of systems and procedures and recommends system design or modifications to achieve desired goals.
* Provides technical support in the evaluation of new financial, clinical, or enterprise systems software products including performance testing, reliability testing, deployment requirements, functional requirements, manpower requirements, and maintainability.
* Analyze specific hardware or software combinations under consideration for use and provide recommendations based on best practice.
* Determines best means to deploy and support products, on a project basis, as they move from the Service Transition to Service Operation.
* Works with design team to test in a structured manner and document results.
* Supports the creation and maintenance of the as-built architectures to support Service Transition and Service Operation.
* Plans, documents, and implements software patches and upgrades for assigned service line.
* Bachelors degree in related field with 2 years of relevant experience, or Associates degree in related field with 4 years of relevant experience, or 6 years of relevant experience.
* Previous experience with software used in a financial, clinical or enterprise systems setting.
* Previous experience with financial, clinical or web-based systems computing preferred.
* Expertise and certification in supported technologies as required by role.
* Previous experience using verbal and written communication to a variety of audiences through a range of modalities.
* ITIL certification within 6 months of hire.
* Must be able to communicate effectively in English (Verbal/Written).

* Licensed candidates must possess and maintain active licensure in accordance with Oklahoma State law

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
