POSTDOCTORAL ASSOCIATE, Koch Institute (KI) for Integrative Cancer Research (https://ki.mit.edu/) -Stark Lab, to lead cutting-edge projects to better understand cancer immunology and develop new immunotherapies.
To accomplish this, lab projects involve approaches from molecular and synthetic biology, immunology, glycobiology, and biological engineering.
Experimental approaches used in the lab include cloning/molecular biology, protein engineering and biochemistry, mammalian cell/tissue culture, flow cytometry, next-generation sequencing, transcriptomics, and animal models of disease.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in exploring a frontier area of immunobiology to impact cancer and immune therapy while working with other passionate scientists in a collegial, interdisciplinary environment.

Job Requirements
REQUIRED: Ph.D. in immunology, glycobiology, synthetic biology, or a related area; experience managing an independent research project to completion and publication; a track record of innovation; excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, and oral and written communication skills; and ability to learn quickly, function both independently and as part of a team, and work with a variety of people from all backgrounds and at all levels of training.
PREFERRED: expertise in high-dimensional flow cytometry, in vitro or in vivo immune models, animal models, human immunology, functional genomics (e.g., CRISPR screens), and/or single cell transcriptomics.
