**Description**

**General Summary**

Maintains, repairs and overhauls engine driven generators and associated auto-start and transfer switch gear.

Operates, maintains, repairs and modifies aircraft arresting barriers in strict accordance with technical orders and local directives.

**Job Requirement Mandatory: (Job Related experience, education, training skills, knowledge and abilities)**

• Class E Florida Drivers License
• Must have five years experience on engine driven generators and switch gear
• Must be aircraft arresting system qualified with a minimum of three years experience
• Flight Line Driving Permit (to be obtained upon hiring)
• National Agency Check Clearance
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand American English
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as well in a team environment
• Ability to understand and have working knowledge of hazardous, safety, and environmental warnings

**Job Requirements Preferred:**

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High school graduate or equivalent

**Work Environment**

Work may be performed both indoors and outdoors.

Outdoor work is subject to extreme temperatures, noise, inclement weather conditions, and other conditions determined by the nature of the job.

Tasks may be performed on uneven, inclined, hard and soft surfaced floors, cement structures and surfaces at variable heights.

The base salary range for this position is $ $36.74 per hour.

This position may also be eligible for a wide range of competitive benefits that can include but not limited to: medical, well-being, financial planning and short-term incentives benefits.
