Northrop Grumman’s Strategic Space Systems Division (SSSD) has an opening for a **Principal Configuration Analyst/Sr. Principal Configuration Analyst** to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals, and this position will be located in Redondo Beach, CA as a fully onsite role.

**_*This position is contingent upon the candidate obtaining final clearances and program access(es) within a reasonable period of time as determined by the company.

Continued employment thereafter will be subject to maintenance of the level of clearance and program access required for the position in the future.

Additionally, this position_** **_may be filled as a Level 3 Principal Configuration Analyst or Level 4 Sr. Principal Configuration Analyst.*_**

The Configuration Data Management (CDM) Analyst will be expected to perform the following responsibilities:

**Identification**

-Assign and control program hardware/software data identification control numbers per program & Functional Home Room (FHR) mandates

-Enforce & assign part & serial number requirements

**Change Management**

-Perform Technical Review Board and Configuration Control Board activities

-Establish agendas, publish minutes & track meeting actions

-Process change packages through lifecycle include disposition & documentation/hardware implementation

-Perform program data release functions via Product Lifecycle Mgmt.

**Configuration Status Accounting**

-Development & maintain various CDM reports for program support.

Examples: Configured Item Identification List, Engineering Change Request status, CDM performance metrics

**Verification & Audits**

-Support internal program CDM audits against program SOW & Functional Command Media mandates

-Provide aid to Functional Configuration Audits & perform Physical Configuration Audit

-Document Management for deliverable CDRLs and non-CDRL documents

**Basic Qualifications for Principal Configuration Analyst:**

-9+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree OR

-Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience OR

-Master's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience OR

-PhD with 1+ year(s) of relevant experience

-Domain knowledge of Configuration Mgmt.

standards such as MIL-HDBK-61A &/or EIA-649B &/or EIA-649-1

-Candidate must have active **SCI** access with a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within the last 5 years, at time of application, and prior to start date OR

-Candidate must have an active **DOD Top Secret** security clearance with a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within the last 5 years, at time of application, and prior to start date **_as well as the_** ability to obtain and maintain active **SCI** access within a reasonable period of time as determined by the company.

Continued employment thereafter will be subject to the candidate’s maintenance of the level of clearance and program access required for the position in the future.

**Basic Qualifications for Sr. Principal Configuration Analyst:**

-12+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree OR

-Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience OR

-Master's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience OR

-PhD with 4+ years of relevant experience

-Domain knowledge of Configuration Mgmt.

standards such as MIL-HDBK-61A &/or EIA-649B &/or EIA-649-1

-Candidate must have active **SCI** access with a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within the last 5 years, at time of application, and prior to start date OR

Primary Level Salary Range: $91,200.00 - $136,800.00

Secondary Level Salary Range: $113,500.00 - $170,300.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.

Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.

Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.

In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
