This role will be supporting Power Delivery outage applications and interfaces which connect to the new outage management system ADMS (mission critical system).
There are over 20 interfaces to ADMS and 20+ new outage applications that are used by the Power Delivery business unit to conduct restoration activities.
This BA will work with all the applications and business owners for this portfolio including Power Delivery, Customer Service, and M&C to enhance the system for future possibilities.
This individual will be involved with analyzing business processes and practices in an effort to focus the design and implementation of information technology solutions that meet the business initiatives.
This individual collaborates on an on-going basis with the business and technical project stakeholders and applies proven communications, analytical and problem-solving skills to help support the development process, and to ensure the project deliverables meet specifications.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Demonstrates a strong familiarity with business processes that are in their area of business focusEstablishes and manages effective customer relationships with users of business, operations systems, as well as technical team membersApplies advanced analytical skills within functional area to decompose work into manageable value-based unitsResponds to requests, identifies conflicts, and makes recommendations where neededDevises or modifies procedures to solve complex problemsActs as a project leader for significant projectsUses knowledge of business processes to identify interdependencies and functional gapsBuilds strong working understanding of the technical solution being delivered and analyzes and determines failure points in the solutionContributes to the application testing process (directly or to support end users).
Working experience in test analysis, design, integration, and end-to-end testing Offers technical solutions to solve complex problemsAbility to read and understand system code and intended functionalityExperience working in fast-paced Agile environment and Kanban team formatCreates and updates documentation, as appropriate, for selected project frameworkMaintains a familiarity with market trends in technologyPerforms other job-related duties as assigned Preferred Qualifications
