We are seeking an experienced Principal Product Marketer to lead GTM and marketing strategy and execution for our most important and often confidential product launches.
In this highly cross-functional role, you will be responsible for developing and executing end-to-end GTM strategies for Amazon Ads technology products, including APIs, AI-powered developer tools, and services.
This role bridges product, engineering, and customer teams to ensure developers and technical buyers understand, adopt, and succeed with our solutions.
The person who will thrive in this role has the ability to view disparate launches, bundle them into a simple story, and identify the path forward to resolve product gaps and issues.
The ideal candidate moves seamlessly between big picture thinking and leading tactical execution, and the person is able to navigate heavy ambiguity and chart a path forward independently.

Key job responsibilities
* Product Strategy & Insights: Conduct research, customer interviews, and market analysis to uncover pain points, workflows, and use cases; synthesize partner feedback, competitive benchmarks, and industry trends to influence roadmap and messaging.
* GTM Planning & Execution: Lead go-to-market strategy for platform launches, APIs, and technical features; define positioning, messaging, and launch readiness across documentation, training, sales, and marketing channels.
* Audience Messaging & Engagement: Develop tailored content and narratives for technical audiences (developers, CTOs, and tech decision-makers); highlight customer success stories to drive adoption.
* Community & Enablement: Build scalable engagement and enablement programs with Sales, Partner GTM, and Solutions Architects; create feedback loops through surveys, advisory councils, and early access programs to inform strategy.
* Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate across Product, Sales, Events, Regional Marketing, PR, Research, and Training teams; align stakeholders on vision, support alpha/beta programs, and translate customer insights into product improvements.
* Success Metrics: Track adoption and usage of products and features, content engagement (documentation, events, community), customer satisfaction (CSAT, NPS, qualitative feedback), and contributions of insights to roadmap prioritization.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 9+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with creating GTM initiatives at scale
- Experience working cross-functionally across marketing, product management, analytics, UX, and research
