These experiences live across web, mobile, and internal software platforms.
Our team cares deeply about solving problems for real people - customers, co-workers, and everyone else.

We seek to make everything a little better than we found it.

About the role

As a Principal Product Designer on the Design Technology and Artificial Intelligence team, you'll help define the next generation of interactive and immersive experiences at Zillow.

You'll explore new ways for people to see, understand, and connect with homes through 3D, interactive media, and adaptive system-driven experiences.

This role sits at the frontier of design and technology at Zillow.

Collaborating closely with engineers, product managers, and researchers, you'll expand what's possible in Zillow's customer experience.

Responsibilities:
Design digital experiences across web, iOS, Android, and immersive media platforms

Advocate for customer needs and ensure designs balance usability, innovation, and delight

Partner with product managers, engineers, researchers, and other designers to shape immersive and media-rich experiences

Architect the service design and information architecture powering automation-driven experiences.

Lead design activities like problem definition, storytelling, prototyping, journey mapping, and user testing

Propose, test, and evaluate ideas that improve Zillow customer experiences

Create coherency, interaction models, and UI patterns that scale across experiences

Present design work, gather feedback, and align cross-functional partners

Lead multiple projects independently and deliver high-quality work on time

Partner with other designers to ensure design consistency and excellence

Share expertise and mentorship to help others develop skills

Contribute to the evolution of Zillow's design practice in emerging media

Contribute, learn, grow, and have fun!
