Introduction to the team:
The Product Team creates high-quality end-to-end experiences for travelers, partners, and Expedia Group.
Our customer-first mindset focuses on developing products that encourage loyalty and repeat business from our travelers and partners.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about inclusive design, has a strong systems-thinking mindset, and thrives at the intersection of design, engineering, and user empathy.
You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams across product, design, engineering, and brand to ensure our platforms power visually delightful experiences on web and app for each of our brand’s target travelers whilst meeting the highest standards of accessibility.
In this role, you will:
Lead the strategy and development of Expedia Group’s design system, including components, patterns, and visual assets used across web and mobile platforms and intuitive tooling for designers and engineers.
Champion accessibility across all traveler-facing experiences, ensuring compliance with global standards (e.g., WCAG, EU regulations) and embedding inclusive design from the start.
Collaborate with product, design, engineering, and brand teams to ensure the system supports both consistency and creative flexibility across multiple brands and their unique visual identities.
Influence and drive change across a wide program of work, embedding accessibility into the product development lifecycle and elevating standards across the organization.
Partner with teams working on high-impact traveler experiences (e.g., home, shopping, checkout) to ensure the design system supports modern, performant, and inclusive user journeys.
Act as a thought leader in accessibility and inclusive design, mentoring teams and advocating for travelers with diverse needs, including those with visual impairments or other accessibility requirements.
Experience and qualifications:
You have 12+ years of product management experience, with a strong focus on consumer-facing platforms or design systems.
You bring deep knowledge of accessibility standards and regulations (e.g., WCAG 2.1+, ARIA, ADA, EU accessibility laws) and know how to apply them effectively in digital product development.
You’ve led cross-functional initiatives and know how to influence without authority across design, engineering, and brand teams.
You think in systems and can balance consistency, scalability, and brand differentiation in complex environments.
You’ve worked with or led design systems at scale, ideally supporting multiple brands or platforms.
You’re passionate about inclusive design and have a track record of advocating for underserved or underrepresented users.
You communicate clearly and confidently, and you’re comfortable working across time zones and disciplines.

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $224,000 to $313,500.
Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $358,500, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
