As a key member of the AWS Data Portfolio team, you'll connect the dots across our diverse data products and categories, leveraging market insights and business acumen to shape portfolio strategy.
You'll partner deeply with executives, product managers, sales teams, and marketing organizations to develop a cohesive narrative that resonates with both technical and business decision makers.
Your work will enable field sellers, provide thought leadership to executives, and educate customers on transforming their data foundations.

Key job responsibilities
*Leveraging strong business acumen to assess market opportunities and trends, partnering with sales and product teams to shape portfolio strategy and direction
*Developing thought leadership and compelling content that positions AWS data portfolio as a transformative solution for both business and technical decision-makers
*Creating market-driven narratives and assets including executive presentations that demonstrate the comprehensive value of AWS data portfolio, from individual services to full solutions
* Activating and enabling field and partner marketing teams, creating compelling assets and playbooks that empower our global sales ecosystem to articulate the data portfolio's unique value proposition
* Managing relationships with industry analysts and influencers to shape market perception
* Defining and tracking business metrics that demonstrate the portfolio's strategic value
* Work effectively across AWS with groups such as engineering, marketing, sales, business development, and evangelists to achieve our joint business goals

Basic Qualifications
- 9+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with creating GTM initiatives at scale
- Experience working cross-functionally across marketing, product management, analytics, UX, and research

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets.
The base pay for this position ranges from $153,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $252,900/year in our highest geographic market.
Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
