As a Principal Software Engineer within the Developer Experience Software Engineering team, you'll lead the charge in designing, developing, and implementing state-of-the-art solutions that propel NVIDIA's internal products forward.

Your technical expertise and innovative spirit will influence the direction of our AI Inference Services, Agentic AI frameworks and Engineering Apps, among other pivotal initiatives.

By merging business acumen with technical prowess, you'll create impactful, enterprise-level solutions that elevate NVIDIA's global operations.


What you’ll be doing:
+ Spearhead the design, development, and adoption of exceptionally complex, company-wide software projects, driving transformative business outcomes.
+ Collaborate with senior leaders to establish and implement technology strategies, aligning with NVIDIA's overarching objectives in the area of Developer Experience.
+ Provide technical leadership, guiding cross-functional teams in the development of innovative, patent-worthy solutions.
+ Define project scopes, manage resources, and ensure seamless execution, applying your expertise to mitigate risks and optimize outcomes.
+ Develop and maintain broad, company-wide influence, driving the adoption of new technologies and processes.
+ Contribute to the creation of technical roadmaps, crafting the future of NVIDIA's internal products and Enterprise AI services.



What we need to see:
+ BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, other Engineering or related fields (or equivalent experience)
+ 15+ years of professional software development experience, with a proven track record of leading complex, high-impact projects
+ Demonstrated expertise in crafting and developing scalable, secure, and innovative software solutions
+ Demonstrated use of AI for coding, designing, planning and execution
+ Strong business insight, combining technical and business viewpoints to achieve strategic results
+ Excellent leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior leaders
+ Experience with multiple programming languages, including proficiency in at least one of the following: Javascript, React, NodeJS or Python
+ Familiarity with Gen AI and Agentic AI.
+ Background with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) and containerization (Kubernetes, Docker)

+ A proven history of developing patent-worthy, innovative solutions that have driven significant business impact for developers and engineering orgs
+ Experience leading company-wide technology strategies and influencing organizational direction
+ Expertise in technologies, such as LLMs, AI Inference, AI Agents, Bug tracking, POR Planning and AI assisted development
+ A strong portfolio of technical publications, conference presentations, or open-source contributions
+ Prior experience in a similar senior technical leadership role, with a deep understanding of driving transformative change

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.

The base salary range is 248,000 USD - 391,000 USD.
