You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles.

Amazon Web Services’ Infrastructure Supply Chain and Procurement team is looking for experienced professionals to help build the world’s premier cloud computing platform.

We are looking for a candidate with engineering and manufacturing experience capable of operating in a fast paced, ever changing environment.

Our NPI team works closely with our engineering and deployment teams, suppliers, and data center operations to launch new products and manage transitions.

They are also responsible for integrating across supply chain commodity managers to maintain continuity of supply while minimizing risk for excess and obsolete materials.

Key job responsibilities
- Define and execute strategic supply chain roadmaps that transform service delivery, productivity and quality
- Lead complex cross-functional initiatives spanning engineering, supply chain and procurement teams
- Drive technical requirements gathering and strategic alignment with internal development teams
- Present data-driven business reviews to executive leadership on new product launches and transitions
- Architect scalable supply chain solutions for AWS infrastructure operations
- Identify gaps/opportunities in system architectures and workflows to satisfy customer requirements
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 7+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
- 7+ years of professional or military experience
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a founder or executive focused on related segments, or as a practice leader or business unit owner
- MBA
- Deep expertise in cloud computing infrastructure and operations

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets.

The base pay for this position ranges from $158,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $262,000/year in our highest geographic market.

Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
