We are seeking a Principal Systems Engineer to work onsite at Colorado Springs, CO or Huntsville, AL.
This position requires an active Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility.
What You Will Do:
Maintain accurate metrics of team progress
Supports all team staffing responsibilities, including interviewing new candidates, dealing with team performance issues, and supporting team member growth and development
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.
Experience working proposals, team building, developing and maintaining metrics, facilitating and providing training, and shaping a culture.
Strong System Engineering and proven leadership experience.
Experience performing system engineering for large complex systems to include requirements analysis and decomposition, Interface definition, root cause analysis, application design, integration, and test.
Experience working on site and with teammates from multiple companies and in geographically locations.
Familiarity with agile principles and the ability to work with different teams within an organization.
Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting, identifying, and diagnosing systems administration, infrastructure and architecture.
Experience user of the Confluence and JIRA tools and interface specifications to document and control the achievement of the desired capabilities.
Active and transferable U.S. government issued SECRET security clearance is required prior to start date.
