Who You Are
Prowess Consulting is looking for a Privacy Project Manager with software privacy and privacy review experience to join our growing team.



To be considered for this role, you must reside in one of the following states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Virginia, or Washington.



This is a full-time role that can be worked remotely, however, collaboration with teammates centered in the Pacific time zone will be essential.

No third-party agencies, please.



The Role

+ Provide support for privacy consultations, including effectively communicating privacy-related information, guiding stakeholders on compliance requirements, and directing them to appropriate resources for further assistance.



+ Conduct privacy reviews, ensuring that organizational practices align with privacy standards and requirements.



+ Support completion of new and updated Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), triage of privacy incidents, and execution of Data Subject Requests (DSRs).



+ Effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate privacy considerations into various business processes, systems, and initiatives, fostering a culture of privacy awareness and accountability within the organization.



Qualifications

+ 2-3 plus years’ experience as a Privacy Manager is required

+ Certified in Privacy certifications: CIPM/CIPP/CIPT highly desirable 

+ Knowledge of global privacy laws, regulations, and industry standards

Additional Details

+ The offered base pay range for this position is $80,000 to $112,000 per year, depending on the candidate’s work experience.



+ Full-time employees (defined as working 30 hours or more per week) within the US have access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, basic life insurance, a 401K plan with matching, well-being benefits, education benefits, and other benefits.



+ Full-time employees based in the US receive 11 paid holidays per year, in addition to accruing paid time off based on tenure.
