Job Description Job Description Process Integration Engineer - Optoelectronics Process Integration Engineer - Semiconductor Fabrication Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Process Integration Engineer specializing in Optoelectronics device design & fabrication to join our team.
The ideal candidate will focus on the integration of optoelectronic devices (i.e. Photonic Integrated Circuits, Edge Emitting Lasers, PIN Detectors, VCSELS, etc.) within our semiconductor fabrication processes, ensuring high quality & efficiency in production.
Key Responsibilities Develop and optimize wafer processes for optoelectronic devices - i.e. PIN Detectors, Edge emitting lasers, VCSELS, Photonic Integrated Circuits, etc.
Processes development, improvement throughout our onsite semiconductor fab Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies into existing processes.
Project management responsibilities including preparing schedules, reports, vendor/client interaction, etc.
Support the introduction of new products and technologies into the fab environment.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred) in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical, Chemical or a related field.
At least 1 year of Optoelectronic fabrication and design Wafer & clean room experience with III-V or silicon compounds Hands-on experience with cleanroom processes i.e. wet/dry etching, PECVD, pto resist patterning, etc.
DOE, SPC, FMEA are all a plus Optical fiber bandwidth measurement experience is a plus Experience with III-V semiconductor fabrication & design.
Familiarity with design and fabrication techniques for devices such as edge emitting lasers and PIN detectors.
