What You Will Be Doing:
Set up and Optimize machines to meet strict quality standardsInspect molds and monitor production using detailed process controlsCoordinate with operators to ensure smooth production and timely machine adjustmentsAssign and assist with machine, tool, and part repairs.Lead and/or participate in continuous improvement initiatives across the shiftMaintain production flow through quality assurance after machine optimizationDocument shift activities, manage change points, and update process playbooksCommunicate machine issues with team leads and supervisorsEnsure compliance with EHS and IATF safety standardsIdentify safety risks and participate in near miss incident analysisBe able to work both independently and as part of a teamUtilize your troubleshooting and problem solving mindsetPerform additional duties as needed to support the teamOther duties or projects as assigned
Qualifications
What You Will Need to Succeed:
Minimum 3 years' experience in plastics industry or equivalent - Plastics industry is a huge plus!Experience in optimizing blow molding products or equivalent - a huge plus!Knowledge of energy sources (electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic)Basic understanding of PLC controlled machines and automationWelding/Fabricating - would be a nice plus!Forklift/Manlift certification and experience (we will provide training internally)Knowledge of relevant quality control schemesKnowledge of different measuring techniques (, gauges)Knowledge of EHS protocols and guidelinesKnowledge in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)High school diploma or GED minimum education
