**Your New Role...**
CNN seeks a talented Producer II to join the Special Events Programming team in Washington, DC!
**Your Role Accountabilities...**
+ This producer is responsible for producing compelling special events programming – from election coverage to town halls and debates to coverage of significant historical moments.
+ The producer must have a wide range of skills – a strong editorial sense, knowledge of iNews and various video editing platforms, a well-honed organizational sensibility, and a broad-based analytical foundation.
+ Must have the ability to work under tight deadlines and manage a wide variety of tasks at once.
**Qualifications & Experience...**
+ 5+ years producing with both field and control room experience.
+ This position requires a creative thinker with the ability to find new and entertaining ways to present information, new angles to approach stories, and the organization skills to bring it all together.
+ The position requires outstanding news judgment, critical and strategic thinking, and an ability to be persistent yet diplomatic.
+ Bachelor’s degree preferred.
+ Must be able to work an extended schedule as the news cycle and deadlines require.

and Discovery Global, with an expected completion in mid-2026.

Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros.
Discovery’s total compensation package for employees.
Pay Range: $94,500.00 - $175,500.00 salary per year.
Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards.
