Urgent! Product Design Manager, Risk Analytics Job Opening In Boston – Now Hiring Visual Lease

Product Design Manager, Risk Analytics

Job description

Overview

CoStar Group (NASDAQ: CSGP) is a leading global provider of commercial and residential real estate information, analytics, and online marketplaces.

Included in the S&P 500 Index and the NASDAQ 100, CoStar Group is on a mission to digitize the world’s real estate, empowering all people to discover properties, insights and connections that improve their businesses and lives.

We have been living and breathing the world of real estate information and online marketplaces for over 35 years, giving us the perspective to create truly unique and valuable offerings to our customers.

We’ve continually refined, transformed and perfected our approach to our business, creating a language that has become standard in our industry, for our customers, and even our competitors.

We continue that effort today and are always working to improve and drive innovation.

This is how we deliver for our customers, our employees, and investors.

By equipping the brightest minds with the best resources available, we provide an invaluable edge in real estate.

CoStar Risk Analytics, located in Boston, MA, works with market participants across the commercial real estate (CRE) lending spectrum.

Our solution provides lenders with the ability to better target business, appropriately price loans, make informed approval of credits, actively manage their portfolio with robust stress testing and surveillance measures, assess refinance risk and execute with a disciplined framework.

Our clients include both public and private lenders, ranging from commercial banks and financial institutions to pension funds and insurance companies as well as government and rating agencies.

About the Role

CoStar Risk Analytics is disrupting the CRE Lending industry by leveraging technology, data, and design to help our Customers succeed.

We are looking for a Product Design Manager to join our growing team and help us accelerate our mission.

In this role, you will work closely with the product team through design iteration by incorporating internal and external stakeholder feedback.

This position is located in Boston, MA, and is onsite 5 days/week.

About You

Simply put, you love simplifying complex problems.

You thrive at being hands-on and immersive.

You look for opportunities to improve the way things work, and you have the drive to challenge the enterprise software status quo.

You are also experienced working with product teams and know how to clarify requirements and work towards consensus and compromise.

You're a proactive self-starter.

If you see a problem, you look for ways to fix it instead of waiting for others to fix it for you.

You are looking to shape the experience of the users of our software — to make things better for the user’s sake, not just for design’s sake.

Share Your Work, Share Your Process

We want to see sample projects and past work that reveals your passion for solving complex problems, meets the needs of the user, and supports clearly identified business objectives.

A portfolio is required.

Responsibilities

  • Produce designs with input from your product team to achieve the desired customer experience, including user flows, high-fidelity wireframes, detailed mockups, and interactive prototypes
  • Act as the user-advocate in cross-functional teams with product managers, architects and software engineers
  • Communicate your design process and recommendations effectively to C-Suite level stakeholders and below across the organization
  • Create intuitive products that elevate the user experience in delightful ways using best practices, current design trends, and user research
  • Collaborate with product managers, executives, and other stakeholders to incorporate specific design requirements, visual treatment, and content structure

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited, not-for-profit university or college
  • 5+ years relevant design experience, working with a product team
  • 3+ years experience managing designers
  • Experience working on the design and creation of enterprise applications
  • Strong communication skills (delivering to both business and technical partners)
  • Experience working with robust designs systems using atomic UI design principles
  • Strong proficiency in sketching, prototyping, articulating design decisions, and processing stakeholder feedback
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma
  • A portfolio of well-designed, user-centered projects
  • Track record of commitment to prior employers

Preferred Qualifications

  • Data visualization experience where infographics are used to tell a story
  • Prior experience with survey and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Pendo, UserTesting.com, and SurveyMonkey
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a PLUS
  • Experience with workflow design principles/concepts
  • Familiarity with financial modeling and financial visualization concepts
  • Understanding of data model concept as it pertains to a specific business domain and solutions therefor

What’s in it for you?

When you join CoStar Group, you’ll experience a collaborative and innovative culture working alongside the best and brightest to empower our people and customers to succeed.

We offer you generous compensation and performance-based incentives.

CoStar Group also invests in your professional and academic growth with internal training, and tuition reimbursement.

Our benefits package includes (but is not limited to):
