Product DesignerMetaDesign & User ExperienceDesignProduct Designer Responsibilities* Design digital user interfaces, create graphics, and design new experiences or layouts that evolve and/or define visual systems for web-based applications and technologies with a focus on aesthetics and design.* Take broad, conceptual ideas and create design flows and experiences that are incredibly simple and elegant for supported platforms.* Partner with product managers, engineers, UX researchers and content strategists to iterate and oversee user experience of a product from conception to launch.* Give and solicit feedback from other designers in order to continually raise our bar for quality.* Work on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires review of a variety of factors.* Telecommute from anywhere in the U.S. permitted.Minimum Qualifications* Requires a Bachelor's degree(or foreign degree equivalent) in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Arts, Technology and the Business of Innovation, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
Requires completion of a university-level course, research project, internship, or thesis in the following:* 1.
Building and shipping applications or software at the level of whole features or products across a variety of platforms* 2.
Interaction design, including defining how an experience should behave based on understanding people's needs* 3.
Prototyping* 4.
Visual design, including typography, desktop or mobile user interface, color, layout, and iconography* 5.
Understanding product goals, identifying opportunities, and making decisions based on the impact to internal and external users* 6.
Creating user flow and mockups to articulate design concepts* 7.
Defining product specifications and user experiences* 8.
Understanding and interpreting user research and usability testing* 9.

$328,103/year to $360,910/year + bonus + equity + benefits Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
