Blink was the result of one of the most successful crowdfunding campaigns ever and is now part of Amazon Devices, the consumer electronics division that brings you the Kindle, Fire Tablets, Fire TV, and Echo.

We are in the home security business to provide customers affordable products that protect their home and loved ones.

Blink is easy to setup and use, and through differentiated ASIC technology we offer best-in-class two-year battery life.

This combination creates a straight forward, low maintenance experience for our customers that provides full home security coverage.

The Product Manager, Blink Subscriptions will define and manage Blink’s Online Subscriptions strategy in North America.

This role is responsible for delivering on our customer monetization goals, including new customer acquisition, subscription attach rate, and rate of retention.

The position requires a data driven approach to identify incremental, convertible subscriber cohorts, and execute acquisition strategies that delight these customers and unlock recurring revenue for Blink and delight our customers.

The right candidate is able to create and deliver acquisition strategies on Amazon.com and within the Blink customer journey (e.g. Blink App), targeting new existing Blink customers with subscription offerings.

You will have the opportunity to influence new products and features for Blink customers, in working directly with the Blink Leadership Team.

This role is highly visible, working closely with Blink’s business teams, and cross-functionally across Amazon Devices.

We are looking for a creative, entrepreneurial, and data-driven Subscription Product Manager to build Blink’s recurring revenue business.

This role will lead Amazon.com Online and Customer Lifecycle sales strategy, executing growth initiatives that increase subscription attach rate for new and existing Blink customers.

We are looking for motivated self-starters that can work in an extremely fast paced environment.

This is a high impact role that directly influences the growth of Blink Subscriptions and the larger Blink Business.

To achieve Blink’s growth ambition, we require an aspiring leader who has an ownership mentality, and thrives on breaking down and solving complex problems.

We are seeking someone who is creative, highly analytical, customer-obsessed, and excels at earning trust with stakeholders.

The successful candidate is capable of managing workstreams across multiple cross-functional teams, and acting as a single-threaded-owner of the subscriber journey for Online customers.

This role contributes to Blink’s long-term subscriptions strategy to maximize new subscriber acquisition and existing subscriber retention, while expanding the offers that Blink provides its subscribing customers e.g. introducing new subscription value through incremental hardware, software, and service strategy.

The role will provide critical insights towards Blink’s 3-year planning, and influence strategic decisions, with visibility to the top levels of senior management in Amazon Devices.

Key job responsibilities
* Define the North American Online subscriptions vision, product strategy, roadmap and requirements to achieve strategic objectives.

Work closely with key stakeholders to deliver on this vision, including Blink business and organizational leadership, product management and engineering, marketing and online/offline sales teams.
* Own business metrics and KPIs for the Online subscription business in North America, including reporting mechanism inputs (MBR, QBR, OP1/2, etc).
* Create, develop, manage, and lead the successful execution of the cross-functional North America Online Subscription strategy in conjunction with Blink business leadership.
* Design and drive key initiatives that deliver the Blink subscription strategy.
* Identify long-term growth opportunities that acquire and retain Blink subscribers.
* Partner with BIEs on data analysis to understand customer needs, preferences, and behavior, informing tailored sales strategies for different customer segments.

Conduct customer research as needed.

Blink is in the home security business to provide customers affordable products that protect their home and loved ones.

This role reports to the single-threaded-owner of Blink’s Subscription Business in North America (‘Head of Blink Subscriptions’).

The Subscriptions Business team reports into Blink’s Global Business and Strategy organization.

This org designs the strategy for Blink's business, one of the fastest growing consumer electronics companies in the world.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of product management experience
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- 3+ years’ experience with recurring revenue strategy, e-commerce and/or software-as-a-service (SAAS).
- You have driven successful sales strategies that hit or exceeded your goals.
- You are a self-starter and can juggle multiple priorities and make things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic and often ambiguous environment.
- Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking capabilities, with the ability to break down complex problems and develop innovative solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and often ambiguous environment, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and make things happen.
- Collaborative and team-oriented mindset, with the ability to build strong relationships and earn trust with stakeholders at all levels.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets, identify insights, and craft data-driven solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of SQL and VBA at an advanced level
- Experience building and analyzing cost/benefit scenarios and business cases and communicating results throughout the organization

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets.

The base pay for this position ranges from $104,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,600/year in our highest geographic market.

Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Amazon is a total compensation company.

Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
