Job Pay Range: $67/hr-$79/hr
Contract Length: 12 Months
Job Summary
The Elite / Credit Modernization Product Owner is responsible for driving the delivery of features and enhancements within the Commercial Loan Origination system built on Salesforce Financial Services Cloud.
This role partners closely with Product Managers, Product Analysts, Solution Leads, and stakeholders to ensure prioritized, high-value work is delivered efficiently and aligns with business goals.
The Product Owner provides day-to-day oversight of a scrum team, facilitates Agile ceremonies, and ensures continuous flow of work through backlog management and cross-team coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Backlog Management & Agile Execution
· Own the creation, refinement, and prioritization of the user story backlog.
· Conduct initial story card mapping and identify cross-team dependencies.
· Establish story acceptance criteria and ensure work meets definition of done.
· Prioritize backlog to support highest value work.
· Provide clarification and context to the development team.
· Facilitate system demonstrations and support UAT testing.
Stakeholder Engagement
· Represent stakeholder needs while collaborating with technology partners.
· Engage with internal and external partners to coordinate timing and dependencies.
· Escalate issues to Program Directors and stakeholders as needed.
· Support weekly and monthly status reporting efforts.
Delivery Oversight & Scope Management
· Monitor agile team demand and capacity.
· Manage product lifecycle from requirements gathering through release.
· Deliver upon business scope and requirements defined at the Feature level.
· Monitor scope changes and manage size increases to maintain project integrity.
· Address delivery risks and blockers to maintain team focus on priorities.
· Manage risks associated with application and feature delivery.
· Support long-term roadmap and OKR alignment with Product Leaders.
· Provide transparency to leadership on project status and development issues.
Basic Qualifications
· Proven experience as a Product Owner (PO), Scrum Master (SM), Business Systems Analyst (BSA) or Business Analyst (BA) leading Salesforce application development, preferably for the Regional Bank and/or Commercial line of business.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in an onshore/offshore team environment.
Preferred Skills
· Experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud.
· Experience with Azure DevOps or similar Scrum Management tools ( Jira)
· Certification in Product Ownership, Scrum Master, or Scaled Agile Frameworks.
· Demonstrated interest and success in improving Agile execution
· Proficiency in creating supporting documentation, wireframes, workflows, etc.
· Familiarity with program execution metrics and project management tools.
· Knowledge of data mapping and reconciliation techniques.
· Exceptional analytical abilities, critical thinking, and creative problem solving.
